Quote:
Sorry, some readers need it spelled out as we’ve learned recently… Intel has decided to pop up and crush our dreams once again as they disavow any knowledge of the alleged Mac Tablet packing Intel’s hyped 75 nm Atom processor. Translated comment from Intel Germany as follows:

Ya man, my laptop's keyboard is screwed up real bad. Which is why I am waiting for June 9 refresh to the Mac lineup so I can go ahead and buy a Mac without the fear of being outdated inside of a year.

Good thinking man, But I'll tell you all computers will be new and uptodate at one point of time only and at some point of time they'll be fazed out. we can wait all are our lives for new things to come and miss out on present. Thats why I stick to my Powerbook G4 till the end of time. untill intel make a new processor for mac that PC window can't use off the shelf!

Is Apple turning a blind eye on Psystar?

I completely agree but what I meant was that I don't want to have an end of line product. I mean I should not buy it now and the next month there is an update to the entire mac line in terms of looks/design. Obviously, a machine will be old one day or other.

Psystar lacks the looks but packs a punch in terms of performance.

ModBook!!!!

I was hanging around in YouTube and found this video
Modbook Tablet

A company called Axiotron is shipping their ModBook here!!!!
Honestly it looks cool, but an Apple-made tablet will be way to better

BTW, isnt it illegal to put Leopard on others hardware, Axiotron is making just like Psystar aren't they??

No, Its not illegal. They got the real mac® there. Its the modified Macbook combined with wacom stylus technology. There's some probably some understanding/agreement between Apple and them.

I think its cool but also think its bulky. I want to read Shuffle sleep on the bed and maybe its going to little heavy in that position.

Electric Computers

There seems shipload of containers delivered to apple form china. what I don't understand is why would Apple try to conceal its content with an unusual name. If its just 3G iphones that's not surprise. Previously they use to call their shipment 'Desktop Computers' and not Mechanical Computers, not Chemical Computers. The very thought that 'Electric Computers' is not iphone 3G make me grin.

Jason D. O'Grady got up from their sleep yesterday and wrote this artical

He also updated his post with a Apple tablet patent picture of 1995

He predicts late this year Mac Tablet.

So there may be no Mac Tablet in those containers. But one thing, there may be a protocol of it. Remember WWDC is a Developer Conference. Jobs going to show an Apple Mac Tablet to the developers. and give 4 months to port their apps on it.

How does it sound?

I was surprised of Apple's declaring what ever is in those containers as "electric computers".
I then realized that these were shipped from China, and the packing list is made by Chinese.

The Chinese word for computer is "dian nao" which literally translates as "electric brain".
I'm guessing this is how that came to be.
