Question Looking at 2008

Hello. I have just joined EmiratesMac even though I reside now in Japan. This looks like a great community; just like another I was involved with for 8 years in Singapore (Mac Users Group (Singapore) Forums - Index). Anyway, my question is really to ask what is happening in 2008 in UAE with regards to technology exhibitions or conferences (including digital media) or education? I particularly wish to visit UAE for such an event BUT it MUST include an APPLE presence
Anyone penciled in an event for 2008 yet?
Thank you.
Michael

Not much in terms of what you're looking for with Apple presence. Personally I'd love to see something with Apple and education, but not sure how to make that happen.

Welcome to the site!

Zaid Al Hilali will become famous soon enough
There is an annual technology expo that Apple products is displayed at, GITEX is one of the biggest events in the region. Next GITEX 2008 will be held in October mostly as the time have shifted from September.
We "EmiratesMac" members participated in last GITEX (last Sept) and was very pleasant time.
