316 features of Leopard in One page

Pls Note: I know there is a thread about the features of Leopard in the Mac OS X section but it is about what you guys think about the features.

Apple has recently updated its page about Leopard with the list of all 316 features.

My view based on the list is that some of the features mentioned here have been available in Windows since XP and some since Windows 98.

Also some new features in iCal and Mail are already available in Outlook 2003. For eg:
Quote:
Forward as Attachment

Forward an email as an attachment instead of an inline message. Select the message or group of messages you’d like to forward and choose “Forward as Attachment” from the Message menu. You can also drag and drop Mail messages into applications like iChat and they’ll be sent as attachments.
I was like I thought this was a basic thing ever since email became mainstream!!!! And they are calling it a new feature in Leopard!!!!!!!

What seems funny to me is that the Apple Marketing Hype about being the best OS ever is purely about interface, security and stability and usability.

Is this one of the reasons why to use Apple you need to be an ardent fan of Apple else you are going to get pissed with it for doing small things like this before.

I would say that in a list of 316 new features most of them are going to be small and perhaps insignificant, others are only going to be of interest to a small group of users, and only a few are going to be new and really interesting for the average user.

You know I was really stunned at some of the features that Apple actually listed like the 'forward email as an attachment' feature, thats like Apple Marketing and Steve's Reality Distortion Field at work fulltime
