iphone arrival date ?

I know this is a question this site is so used to seeing and answering, but when is the expected date of arrival of the 8gb newly priced $399.00 iphone ?

cant wait because my treo 650 is starting to act funny after 2 years of rigorous use....and i want it to hold on until the iphone arrives.

No one knows, I'm afraid, at least not publicly. There's the Special Event in London on Tuesday which is widely believed to launch the iPhone UK/Europe, but what that means for Middle East is not known.

you can go back to MacWorld 2007 .. the event where Steve announced the iphone ..

he said that is will be available in early 2008 .. in Asia .. but the question is .. does that include the middle east ??

2008 is a couple of months away .. all we have to do is .. wait till then ..

but if you can't wait any more with your treo .. you can always hack your iphone ..

but i don't recommend it ..

I heard rumors that the iphone might arrive in UAE by December 2007 or January 2008. its just rumors. However, if you really want an iphone very bad, you can setup an Aramex account and have apple ship the iphone to your us address (mailbox assigned by Aramex) and you will receive it in UAE in about a week and a half time depending how fast it ships from Apple. And you can do the unlock your self using your personal computer.
