a Black iMac??

I dont know if this is old news to u guys, but am NEW and i wanted to share this:

Could this be true? or is it just another rumor? personally to me apple=white but black doesnt do any harm.

I think it would be cool. Personally, if they charge more for the black, I wouldn't buy it over white, but it's good to have a choice.

But it depends what the skin will be. by that i mean if its going to the same finish used on the macbook. the macbook looks good but i have seen some laptops where the skin had worn out.

I'm not sure they're comparable though. As a desktop an iMac doesn't get the same wear and tear as a MacBook does.

iMac looks very nice in black, but we have to have black cables keyboard and mouse as we had them in 1999.

Its true, u would need black gadgets to match. but a black keyboard? whats apple about that? they will have to think about material so much

Well, they've had their share of setbacks. Before Steve Jobs coming back in 1997 Apple was not that far from going under or being bought up. Also, some products have been real failures, like the Pippin.

Lately, they're on a roll, so let's hope they keep it that way. But sooner or later they'll come out with a product that bombs, I'm sure.
