| Pray for the Mac Book Thin I utterly, desperately want a Mac Book Thin sized 12" or less with metallic colouring. The 13" plastic Mac Book just does not cut it for me. I have a 12" Powerbook reserved, which I was going to buy, it's Dh3999 (not the best discount, but the MacStores had already sold out by the time I found out about their Dh2,999 offer. It all hangs on the Mac Book Thin. *prays* |

| The more rumour sites I read, the less likely it looks. I'm really not sold on this mobile phone-hybrid concept. You can never get a decent computing experience with something the size of a mobile phone. When I go out at night or whatever, I just want to take my tiny, slim phone. When I sit in a webcafe I want something at least the size of the PSP, for example, to surf on. But that would be way too damn clunky to take out at night. For me, the devices are still separate. And I say this as a big Palm user: I love my Tungsten T5 and it continues to be useful, but it's way bigger than my last two mobiles, and no way does it offer anything remotely comparable to a decent computing/surfing experience, mainly through its lack of keyboard and its small screen size. And every single device known to humankind is now an mp3 player, so I could so care less about that functionality in my phone (which has iTunes, as it's a RAZR, and yet I never use it to listen to music on). |
