    Oh, yes... And then:

We already have a video of the owner showing his frustration [video - excellent translation / captions throughout :]

Also an interview of his father, saying he's not in danger of losing his job...

Unfortunately, the news last year that a Chinese worker killed himself over a missing iPhone prototypee was apparently not a joke...
    Cheers,
    -Michl

Yes it is very much.YouTube & Gizmodo have a lot about it. Apple brilliantly disabled the phone however the physical appliance had been brought out.

Micro sims will be seen in the 4th generation iPhone.well UAE Etisalat & du better gear up and make micro sims. Or else the phone will be in the market & but no provider to support it.

Why to we always face late releases. Am so getting used to it. Hope it improves in time to come.

I don't want to say that, but I have to say it: in all middle east countries we do not believe in "Services" wherever you go you will find the question "What I will get in return?" and if your answer is a "Service" their response will be "No thank you."
to make long story short: Not all people are used to use services in their lives, that is why we see the new services are coming late to our countries.

It's not just services though it's also all too often products.

Etisalat has the ability to make MicroSim.
Both Du and Etisalat want to cash in on the iPhone, iPad, as well as charging us for a new sim.
So I wouldn't worry too much.

That's for sure. Meanwhile Etisalat just posted Dh1.9bn profit...

Yes and now, the issue IMO being the delay. Given their monopoly, they can take their sweet time - and if the iPhone 3GS scenario repeats itself...

The times are more likely set by Apple rather than them.
Chances are they have little say about when to launch it.

Yep, Apple will tell them when, and 6 months after that they'll eventually launch it, and another 6 months more they'll come up with data plans... And then they'll be out-of-stock. By the time I can get one iPad v2 will be nearly out. And the cycle repeats.
    Cheers,
    -Michl
