    Question Mac Development Environment

    Hi @LL

I'm a Windows developer (.NET) and I'm new to MAC world. I would like to buy a Mac for developing apps for iPhone, iPod and iPad. Where can I start? I would like to know what hardware and software (SDK) I require to start developing apps. Where can I find MAC store in UAE that sells MAC (Desktop/Laptop) with Arabic keyboard? What about SDK, are they available in stores or should be downloaded from the Internet?

Appreciate any kind of help, thanx a lot...

I believe Apple Developer will answer many questions. Concerning where to buy, go through some threads on same subject.

    Cool AirplaySDK for iPhone

    Thanx Magnus

Just in case someone else is working under Windows platform (or even Mac) and would like to develop for iPhone...I've found a very good SDK that will allow you to develop using native C/C++ (no need to learn Objective-C) for most of available mobiles including, but not limited to, (iOS) iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile, BREW and Maemo. As they said "Develop Once, Deploy All".

It's called AirplaySDK (Home | Airplay SDK) from Ideaworks Labs.

NB: They even have an ‘iPhone’ License (free) permits public distribution of iPhone/iPod/iPad apps without visual watermarking, or for $99 an Indie license per seat per year: permits public distribution on all supported platforms. No mandatory visual watermarks or splash screens.
