iMovie HD

I have compiled a small video of my son's birth and his first few days. I also added some photos as part of the time line. Experimenting I added Video FX to the pictures. I now don't really like the Flash FX in question and I wish to remove the effect. Help files says the following:

To remove a transition, title, or effect:
Do of the following:
To remove a title or effect, select the clip or clips that contain the title or effect you want to remove in the clip viewer or time line viewer.
Press the Delete key.

I have tried but can't get the FX off my clip/photo.

Any tips (apart from reverting to original) ?

Thanks,

Kman

Before you apply a fx you get to watch preview with the effect. only when you are decided upon an effect you hit the tick mark. imovie renders the movie than.

Now if you want to remove the fx, you must deleat the rendered clip.
Are you saying you can't deleat the rendered clip?

I would be wrong, but you either need iMovie hack or you have feature wishlist.

I am sure I can remove the rendered clip. I just got the impression from the help file that I actually could delete the actual FX from the clip in question. Just wanted to make sure that before I take 2 steps back, that there was no 1 step back option ...

and yes, I have a wish list ...

Thanks Vinpin
