Want to play your music wirelessly without Itunes? Read here

There is an option in itunes to play music through your home theater speakers wirelessly using Apple Express. Well now you can play all your music on Apple Express using a program called Airfoil. You can also play music files that are in firefox. You can download the program for free (Trial Version) and see how it works and if you decide to buy it its $25.

Visit this website to read more about Airfoil. Roguea Moeba

Enjoy

Nslu2

Hi I have just finished setting up my NSLU2 & Firefly so I have a wireless NAS with all my MP3's on which any iTunes client can see in the house. So when I launch iTunes a shared folder appears called House Music which is where all my MP3's live.
It took a while to set up as I tried Twonky Server first which was a pain, but Firefly seems good so far and quite easy to set up.
The NSLU2 was about 461 AED from Jumbo in Mall of the Emirates.

Rgds

Cool. For this program I dont have to use itunes to play music wirelessly. For example when I am visiting jumairamoon.com to stream music, i listen to them wirelessly which is something i really enjoyed so far.

Airport Express is quite hard to get to work with iTunes, the wifi is abit buggy in that its selective about which wifi routers to recognise.

For some really cool hardware, try Pinnicale's Soundbridge, not only does it stream from your iTunes collection, its a fantastic internet radio player.

Im waiting to get an Apple TV, not only sync of music, buy iphotos and the occasional movie download from iTunestore

regards
Joe

i saw many bluetooth wireless headsets in i2 stores. Since they are bluetooth i think they should be compatible. Also the macbook has built-in bluetooth, maybe the bluetooth headset of the mobile will work with it. Anyone tried it?
