Hey there I have a question regarding burning DVD capable CD's. How can I burn a DVD movie that can be played on any DVD player, what program can or should I use..?

I would ask first what kind of movie is it you want to burn? Is it coming from a camcorder or similar device, then run it through iMovie > iDVD. If it's a feature movie that's been downloaded (like one or two AVI files) then there's Roxio's Popcorn.

Hmm, movies downloaded from the torrents..? And how can I make copies of CD..?

I once burned an .AVI movie with iDVD and it worked with my PS2, although the process of converting to that format took very long... but i was happy that it worked
