What is Podcast and Blog?

Excuse my ignorance but can you explain to me what is a podcast, also what is a blog, new concepts not sure what they are. I apologize if this post is in the wrong place.

No problem, check out Wikipedia's entries on Podcast and Blog. We had a podcast going for a while but there was no interest from members to keep producing one so it died out.
