Anyone know any musician?

We would love to use some original music in our podcast. Does anyone of you know a musician who may let us use some of their music in our podcast? Or do you work on some music yourself?

If you know of someone, or have some samples, let us know, please.

I'll certainly look em up. They are in the States and am sure they would have no problem. BTW, Misho does some awesome mixes too.

A very very well established UAE muiscian is back in town and has set up his own studio too. Goes by the name of RAD Tel: 6263499. Please feel free to call him and give him my reference.

Holic, you would prob. be the best person to talk to him and explain what we do since my arabic is kinda limited.

Chief, holic is gonna be visiting the mothership soon... am sure he can podcast a lot. also he just bought such awesome new products, he can ceratinly give his insights on them.

yes i just mentioned this to EmiratesMac.. i will be writing alot about my experience at San Francisco and inshalah the Mothership itself

i dont mind doing some podcasts when i get back too... and when i get new products i soo dont mind writing about that either

Sounds great Appleholic. If you could record some while you're actually over there, that'd be fab. Do you have a mic for an iPod or something like that? Or could you record with your mobile? The quality won't be the greatest but it will probably work.

Here's an idea for you all to consider:

I've been thinking about getting an iRiver T30 which is a tiny little MP3 player (flash based) which has a plug for an external mic. I've only checked in Abu Dhabi mall and it was 500 Dirhams. How much a mic is I don't know, but not much. I would want to get one of those small ones you clip to a shirt or tie or something.

How about we take up a collection at the meeting and buy it for EMUG? Then Appleholic can take it with him and record with, and others can take it in the future if they go to special events or things.

Appleholic - it's small enough that you can take it anywhere with you and the recording quality is surprisingly good. If it gets full you could just download the stuff to a Mac. Then when you get back we can edit it together into podcast.

Anyone think that sounds like something they would want to do?

i had a Mic in mind that i wanted to get as soon as i got to San Fran, its the new Griffin mic that u can attach on to ur ipod and record.. its really made for Karekoe but i thought i would give it a try... u guys dont have to purchase a mic..
