iDon't
I admit its a VERY nice phone.
And I would only consider a Sony Ericsson or HTC phone, should I quit the iPhone.
But far from an iPhone killer.
You need to keep in mind a few things.
1) the iPhone is more than the sum of its parts, its iTunes, iTunes store, its the powerful architecture, and the amazing OS.
I'll admit the iPhone has many short comings, and I don't know why Apple has made those mistakes.
(I mean would it kill them if they throw in MMS!!)
I don't like MMS, and I have received 2 MMS files and sent none.
But I understand that people want it, and its an insult that a phone that is 10% the cost of the iPhone can do it, while it can't.
2) a 12.1 MP camera?!!
What the....?
I think anything beyond 3MP (maybe 5MP) is useless.
With our current technology the pictures aren't getting better, just bigger.
The weak point here is the lens, and until that changes the pictures won't improve.
And the bigger MP is just an easy way to market the phone/camera.
It's easier for people to understand that 12 is better than 2.
The simple fact that every phone that comes out is positioned to be the "iPhone killer" shows how strong the iPhone is.
The number of "iPhone killers" is a bow to the master.
But the fact that the iPhone is still king of the hill despite all those "killers' and despite its MANY shortcomings...
Well I feel something swell in my heart...
Something so...
Its just so much...
Its yesterday's burritos...

Apple is a great example of that. From engineering to marketing they are as good as it gets with certain things. iPhone is one of them. How many "iPhone killers" have we seen so far come out and fail? Lots. None have succeeded. They are all great gadgets, but when you market something as an "iPhone killer" you better deliver or you will be laughed at.
