    iwork 09-assistance with pages?

    Greetings all,

Just moved to UAE and glad there is a Mac community here! I am currently working on a presentation in iwork and want to add the final polish to it. I have watched all the Apple on-line tutorials and most of my questions have been answered. However, some haven't.......The bulk of it is in pages and I was after some advice on creating graphics as well as some more basic formatting issues.

Can anyone help? Willing to pay for the correct level of expertise........! Should be a doddle for anyone who is a ninja in pages/iwork!

Also be aware that pages does not autosave-I found this out at 5am this morning after six hours of work crashed and was unrecoverable. Hopefully this might save someone the angst I felt.

    Thanks in advance,

    Macbase

I can try to help, either ask your questions here or drop by the Shufflegazine offices.

But if you're making a presentation, why Pages and not Keynote?

    Auto-saving

On the issue of losing six hours of work, you may want to look at ForeverSave. It costs $14.95. The free Lite version does the autosaving every x minutes, and the paid version saves backups of each save so if you delete material by mistake you may find it in one of the backups. Go here for the free version.

iWorks has an option to backup any saved file.
So when you save your file, it makes a new file called "Backup of…" in the same folder.
    Stay hungry. Stay Foolish.
