    Backup Question

We're looking for backup solution for office, any ideas?
    • About 20 computers, half Mac, half Windows (mostly XP Pro).
    • All wired into LAN.
    • We have PowerMac G5 intended to be server for printing and few other things, can be used for Backup too.
    • We're looking at buying 2TB external drives to connect to the PowerMac, at least one to take off site on a rotating basis.
In terms of hardware I can figure it out. But we need incremental backups a la Time Machine for both platforms and that I cannot find other than Retrospect which people say is horrible it seems.

We are considering Lacie 4big at our Grapheast office. It supports both platforms through Lan.

No, we don't. We have a PowerMac G5 as a server running regular Leopard doing some print server jobs, possibly fax, file sharing and the backup.

Thanks Zaid, that looks interesting. What software will you use for those to do incremental and automatic backups? I'm going to try out BRU, seems easy and affordable.
