Leopard Server as enterprise server in a mixed environment

I am considering installing Leopard Server as my enterprise server serving web site, email, calendar and wiki. I just wanted to know how would users of Windows connect to the server. Let me clarify that a bit. In windows, you log into a domain like say abc or something - which is an internal network domain.

How will this be dealt with if windows has to talk to Leopard Server for domain authentication?

Leopard server supports open directory standards so you can try. I am not sure how far windows will support it. In our office we have made our leopard server to authenticate from windows active directory.

Hey Venky,

Apple's Leopard Server uses open directory which is an ldap 3 compliant directory service that uses kerberos to authenticate.

Your PCs will think that they are on a windows domain, and you can expect the same functionality. Your email will be POP or IMAP (general email standard supported by all windows email clients). Your Calendering will be caldav/webdav,ical) Thunderbird + Lightning . Apache will handle your web hosting and the wiki server will handle your wiki requirements.
