iTunes gift card

Dear all,

I need some info on the iTGC. I will be traveling to the UK end of Aug.

First qs. Can I buy a iTGC from a UK store?

If yes, can I activate it here in the UAE and buy music from the UK iTMS?

Second qs. Do I need a CC with UK billing address to purchase and to activate?

Third qs. Can I buy a iTGC from the UK and gift it to someone in the UAE?

Fourth qs. Is the card only valid for music purchase or I can buy applications and games from the iTMS UAE?

the last thing i heard, is that once you enter the valid gift card number, you will skip the billing registration, therefore country wouldnt matter.

i was trying to get one of these iTGC without any success so i can access iTunes (at least the downloading of art work for albums :S )

I think you can buy iTGC from Sainsburys (don't hold me to that)

You can activate from here, just don't use a .ae email address to activate use gmail or similar.

You don't require a CC no. but you will need a mailing add. So far for myself nothing has been posted to any address ( I have three itunes accounts and counting!) I am assuming that you are a UK resident as you are going back there so yours or any family address would be fine.

You could give anyone an iTGC to anyone and they will have to go through the same process.

When I registered with iTunes with a GC it didn't require a CC when I checked the box for the GC it only asked for an address and tel no. which I could provide.

You do not need to purchase artwork from itunes!
if you find the art on the web and then save as. you can then go to your itunes library right click the album and click get info and paste the art work on the square in the right hand bottom corner. it best to do this with your albums on grid cause... well its easier.
