CNET believes Zune is as good as the iPod!!!!

This came as a surprise to me, the guys at CNET decide to pit the Apple iPod Classic vs the Microsoft Zune 80 and guess what!!!!!

They declared it a tie in overall points but the Zune beat iPod in everything but compatibility including sexiness

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo way.. its imposible... CNET is riged, and i am sure Microsoft just payed them alot of many just to say that cause they are sick and tiered of competing with Apple cause no matter what they do Apple tends to do it better with more style :P its riged i tell ya... thats just imposible... cause the name ZUNE alone just makes the Mp3 player sounds so not sexy :P

I'm not surprised. In fact, I much prefer the usibillity of the interface of Creative's Zen over the iPod. However, iPod has that "cool" factor going for itself that NO player can touch.

oooo noooo u didnt!!!!!! i cant believe i am hearing this, that a Zune has an nicer interface... noooooo freakin way thats just imposible.. with the new interface on the new ipods i must disagree :P and as much as i hate MS and would never want to waste my money on there products i just might want to try a Zune now so i can judge for my self.. NOT BUY ONE, just try it... but i assure u i will not be impreased cause i have seen little video tutorials on how the Zune operates and i tell ya, it comes no where close to the iPod, it might be better than the first Generation Zune, but thats about it :P

the comparison by cnet is between the classic ipod and new gen zune. not with the new ipods.

far as im concerned, this review is not a like to like comparison. they need to compare it with the new gen ipod.

shanevrx, dude, i love the comaro by the way thats a tight ride i used to have a 95 model Z28 in seattle it had a body kit, ss Hood and alot more it was breathe taking i cant wait to get my hands on this new 2009 model

anywhoooo back to macs... the iPod Classic is a new iPod with a new interface, i think there is nothing wrong with the comparison but i am sure the comparison is not far, there is bribe or something behined it

I havent played with the new iPod interface but the one was getting old. For example, on the Creative, if I'm listening to a song in Shuffle mode, I could bring up the menu and select "Other songs from this artist." I really liked this option as at times you dont hear a song/band for ages and it suddenly shows up and then you want to listen to their other songs in your collection.

I can understand someone saying those new Zens are almost as nice as an iPod, but the Zune? As Appleholic stated, Im sure MS paid someone someting big for that review.

thankxs for the back up UltraBlue u got my back...lol... like i said, the Zune 2nd Gen is better than that 1st Gen i have to admit... but still doesnt come close to how good the ipod is... its compatibility with its software "iTunes" is more than enough to beat the Zune anytime any where
