There's a review of Ndrive Emirates in Dec issue of Shufflegazine.
Hi guys,
Was hoping for some input on the different iPhone navigation apps availoable for the UAE. Was wanting to purchase one and Ndrive looks the most tempting because of the price. However I'd rather spend a little extra if it means better maps.
Would appreciate some input as I can't find any reviews. Thanks.

Hi Magnus. Just had a look at the review. Thanks for that. A few questions though:
Have you had any experience with the other Navigation apps?
How updated are the Ndrive maps and are future updates free?
I have seen TomTom Middle East on the Appstore. TomTom should be the best IMO as it offers TTS functionality which none of the the other apps so far offer. TTS is great because the software will speak out the street name instead of just saying "take a right here".
Thanks drsandy,
I've done some research and it seems the Navigon for the iPhone is REALLY REALLY good and is a lot more accurate than the Tom Tom. Plus it uses the Navtek maps which should mean it replicates the Garmin in terms of Map quality. I'm tempted to purchase it but can't seem to find any info on if the software updates will be free
Edit: Oh and it has TTS as well.
