    Question iPhone tethreing with system 3.1x

    hello everybody

    any news about tehering with etisalat carrier?

    if I haven't missed something, the last ipcc files v5.1 cannot work with SO 3.1.2

    Anyway, I have been learning the whole afternoon from your posts.. it's exciting!

    I have Iphone 3G etisalat as well.
    are you talking about file "etisalat_ae_v5.1.ipcc"?
    I made the installation procedure and actually I have all the additional functions but the tethering menu..... how did you make it magically appear?

    coz as far as i know etisalat dose not allow internet tethering....

    I don't think I need to jailbreak my phone, since it is a non-locked phone from italian vodafone. in fact I currently use it with an etisalt wasel sim.

    my phone is jailbroken with blackrain..
    tethering works on etisalat and du.
