im using jailbreked iphone frm US with Du Elite plan (Bronze) + 2GB Data package. after 29 days of usage suddenly im not able to send txt msgs and i called 155 for aasistance ..they told me i've exceeded the limit 1500 AED even i did not use that.
any idea abt Du billing on Elite plans? please advice me either to continue wid this plan or i have to close?

used 900 MB apprx...i called Du they are saying bill is not generated yet..and i have to wait for the bill.
i think they are considering the data usage as unbilled amount...sms replied frm 1233 unbillled amount is reached 1500 AED. But i did not use that much for calling.
i have an iphone 3GS white 32GB wd an elite plan regular only. i was bery confused also. because accdg to axiom telecoms the 1st month usage of internet and data packages is free. dats why i always stay connected wd the internet. then when i asked the other branch they told me dat it is not free. so now im very confused, the axiom tried to see if my bill is generated because im expecting it to come ds 1st week of january. hopefully i will not encounter same problems wd yours. still my internet is ok and i can make call and send messages.
i think they will not cut off ur connection even if u exceeded in ur internet packages. because it is called plan right? and u have to pay wat u have used. knowing dat ur a bronze user paying 200 aed comitment charge.
I'm a little confused too. I have the bronze plan and apparently that qualified me for 12 x 50 AED pm credit + 500 AED early bird credit, total 1100. What I can't see from my bill is how, when and if that is going to be applied???? All my bill online says is 124 AED. No other info at all????
I am ot likely to use anywhere near 2GB data a month so I may look at downgrading to the regular plan. How their credits work is a total mystery to me. Loathe to call 155 as mostly I find them a complete waste of space so have mailed their Customer Care with questions about downgrading and asking precisely how this 1100 credit works.
that 124 is ur total usage already? how much is ur monthly comitment?
im waiting for my 1st bill and i hope its not dat high. im really disappointed on how they run d business. customer care and customer satisfaction is number 1. but how come there are so many questions regarding their services. im not against du, their network and coverage is good. but the problem is in the costumer service when it comes to different packages, promos and many more.
i only have 25aed monthly comitment which is usable and if my usage exceeds it will just add to d 25aed. am i ryt?
den i also have 5mb internet free so if i exceed to 5mb i wud also pay for it.
next question is they say that the 125 payment for the elite plan simcard will be returned and also the 500 credit back divided for 6 or 12 mos of usage.
so this should appear to our bill so dat we know whether our benefits is given or not.
im hoping for an informative, complete and detailed bill.
so that questions will be answered.

yes..i rcvd my bill aed 175..But it is for 13days only (frm 24/11/2009 to 6/12/2009) which i paid already.
from 7th Dec to till date my unbilled amount is showing 1455 aed..
