Issues calling and texting iPhone 3GS

My wife and I have new 32GB 3GS Factory unlocked iPhones from Hong Kong.
Both have been updated and registered with Apple US. We have Etisalat sims and pay as you go.


Here is the issue. Both have issues when calling and texting. We get the “ you do not have enough credit” audio even though there is plenty of credit. The only work around is to go into settings, network, and turn off and on the 3G. Sometimes will work for a while other times only once and then you have to repeat settings. This happens both when 3G is on or off. This is a pain and would like to know if nay one else has experienced this.
