I read some posts of this topic and I got it that all Etisalat's iPhone 3GS is factory unlocked.so I can buy iphone 3Gs from Etisalat and be sure that it is unlock.
and I have another question :d
do you now price of Iphone 3Gs in dubai.

Yes, Etisalat and Du phones are unlocked.
Etisalat sells them for 2, 2400, 2800 AED for the the 8GB 3G, 16GB 3GS, and the 32GB 3GS respectively.
Du is about 50AED more.

I bought mine from du, I have used it in UK with a vodaphone (yeah I know I spelt it wrong) no probs, also used it in Oman with a Mazoon sim, no probs. Didn't get any data deals as I only bought a Pay as you go sim but worked no probs on my du iPhone.
