Well, let's just be thankful the dolphins are still here.

I'm not so sure - the re-sellers here are selling an iPhone for 150-200% of the price in Europe, so it's not such a big deal to pay the unlocking fee to the carrier (about Euro 70.00) and bring the phones over here.

A friend just bought such a phone in Computer Plaza - officially unlocked in Italy.

Wasnt there a star trek movie were they had to save dulphins or whales from the past and bring them to the future to save earth?

It could happen. Those poor things at the Atlantis might revolt. Flipper is their savior and the revolution is about to begin. They'll probably use a flooded mini to get around on land... Crafty things.

Don't you think they would prefer to keep those 70Euros?
Also, the carriers won't do it if the same people come over and over again.
As for Italy, they come unlocked from Apple.
You will find Italy on the listed phones above.

Yes, Star Trek IV Some alien appears on future earth and the Star Trek crew has to travel back in time to get a humpback whale, which is the the only being that can communicate with the alien, or something like that.

    Hi there,

There's a slight problem with the above numbers. These numbers are all for the 3G model and not for 3GS!

    These are the 3GS model numbers from Australia MC131X/A (16GB Black) MC132X/A (16GB White) MC133X/A (32GB Black) MC134X/A (32GB White).

    While from HK the numbers are MC131ZP/A (16GB Black) MC132ZP/A (16GB White) MC133ZP/A (32GB Black) MC134ZP/A (32GB White).

    And from Italy the numbers are MC131T/A (16GB Black) MC132T/A (16GB White) MC133T/A (32GB Black) MC134T/A (32GB White).

I've listed down only these 3 markets because in Dubai you will get 3GS from these 3 markets.

So if your newly bought iPhone 3GS model number is not matching with the above numbers then "Huston you have a problem".
