Hi, I need help. When ever I input etisalat.ae in APN for data service my outgoing stops and if i remove this it the outgoing starts working.

Your outgoing what? Mail?

I mean The outgoing calls, I can recieve calls but unable to make call. Its just a matter of deleting etisalat.ae from APN you remove that and phone starts working.

I mean outgoing Calls. when I input etisalat.ae in APN I can receive calls but unable to make calls. and when I delete this my outgoing calls start working

That is very strange. Have you tried doing a reinstall of OS 3.0 in iTunes?

Yes, when I was on 2.2.1 I faced the same problem thats why i never updated the network settings. But after I upgraded to 3.0 they disabled the setting change and I was like stuck for 2 days, no outgoing calls and thanks to this forum I find a way to enable the networking setting and just deleted the APN and Booom it works. thats amazing how is it possible that only by inputting the APn my outgoing call blocked, is this something to do with etislat because if insert Du sim and input there data setting, it never happend its only etisalat. Is it something to do with data plan, I have not subscribed to any 3G service, will it stop blocking the outgoing calls if i subscribe to some sort of plan. Just guessing!!!!

Asif please try this:

1. Back up your iPhone address book to the one on your computer.
2. Do a clean install of OS 3.0. Do NOT restore from backup. Select the option to set up a new phone. Then sync contacts application etc as you like.
3. Install the .ipcc file I attached to this post using the method mentioned at the top of the post.
4. Check your apn settings and let me know if they are working!

Gierran, is this ipcc file is the same as the one which you posted at the second page of this thread which includes MMS settings??? im on my way now in clean installation of 3.0.

Please use the newest one. It is mostly the same, but I improved it slightly based on some new things I learnt in the hackint0sh forums.
