    Your Favorite AppleStore Iphone Apps

    So made the upgrade to 2.0 over the weekend. I have to say the App store is pretty neat. There are a ton of applications out there that are really handy. Here is a list of what I put on there so far;

    * PhoneSaber (Iam a Geek)
    * Shazam
    * Facebook
    * VNC (Amazing, now I have full control of my MAC from my Iphone)
    * Remote (This should come standard - control your Itunes from your Iphone)

    All of these are free so didnt cost me anything, cant wait for more to be developed.

    Anyone else find anything useful out there worth mentioning?
    NASA paid a million dollars to develop a pen that will write in space. The Russians used a pencil for their space missions.

    Has anyone got any more apps yet?

    I bought a spirit level app, called 'level' funnily enough!

    Also what games you got?

    Tris is a free tetris game.

    Also there are two, etch a sketch apps, one is official (think you have to pay) one is free.

    Also there is a good one called PhoneView you can get a free trial from their website. Looks like it would be more usefull for an iphone than an ipod

    I got Units, a converter.
    Its not as good as the one available on Installer.
    That one is now available (no longer free) but they made changes that everybody doesn't like.

    Parlingo is a nice IM messenger for most networks.
    BubbleWrap is a silly game (why is it that bubble wrap is so addictive?)
    SolFree is a solitaire card game. (a must for every waiting room)

    You are right, there are 2 Etch-A-Skech games.
    The paid version has more features, like adding a picture to the background of a drawing.

    I like a few programs, but I still haven't bought anything.
    I'm still waiting for the AppStore to settle down.
    So I can pick what I want.

    Scribble is okay, (free) you can draw with your finger and save the file to the photos.

    Just got units, will be very handy for the work I am in. I work on GE gas turbines and they still use inches! So I am constantly converting to mm.

    Yeah, Scribble is good.
    But I might buy the full version.

    As for Units, its useful, but I don't like it.
    If you see the old Converter you'll know what I mean.
