The one I am using at the moment is the MOTOKRZR so mainly if Edge works with any other phone that it is capable with how come it won't work with iPhone..? I would like to understand more please..

Yes I checked and now EDGE works just fine over Wasel (which is part of Etisalat's free 3G data subscription package). Its costs about 2 fils per every 1 kb, making it very expensive. I lost over AED 7 for just loading the YouTube page and quitting (approx 7 to 9 seconds).

One would be better off subscribing to the Blackberry internet package of AED 185 a month with unlimited data within the UAE. Only pre-requisite is you need to be a postpaid customer for that.
