    iphone 4 hassles!

    I have just purchased an iphone 4 in the UAE. I have also purchased an etisilat micro-sim for it. I am able to make phone calls and send text messages. However I am getting very frustrated as I am not able to receive phone calls or text messages. Can anyone help me with suggestions?????

    The op mentions that he can make calls and receive them and then at the same time he contradicts his own statement. Funny!

    Can u access any sort of data? I mean is it possible for u to surf the web, etc?

    Hi,

    Have you tried connecting the phone to your laptop/PC and running itunes update?
    Other option is to try someone else's Sim.
