Im also facing problems with du regarding the net usage.. I have a elite plan of 200dhs a month and a promised 2gb data plan and now after 3-4 months use and having ios4 with 3gs they are charging me 2470dhs of data usage last month and then when i came to du at sahara center and sum up the data usage it still doesnt come up to 500mb!!!! I complained and the billing dept told me that its their "du" mistake and that they will wave the charges and i can continue the usage of my plan.. Then this month cqme and again they charged me now 9500dhs for internet use!!!! Wtf!?!?!? From 8am-6pm im in my office qnd using a wi-fi and 630pm-740am im in my room with wi-fi connection.. Where and how on earth could i use those data???? Any body here could help??? And i got this in the net proven by other people using their iphone "Let's say I get a du Bronze Elite Plan (with monthly commitment of AED100, which is closely comparable to the AED99 monthly fee, just without the 12-month tie-down), and I get 55 minutes of local minutes, 55 SMSs bundled, and 2GB of data bundled.
I don't know about how most other people use their devices, but I'm a pretty heavy user on my smartphone with push email on Gmail, MS Exchange, Google Maps, YouTube, Imeem (streaming music), GoogleTalk, etc and even I struggle to get past 1 GB a month.
Seriously, anyone who's using more than 2GB a month is either using his/her mobile phone as a substitute for home broadband, or is pretty big on BitTorrent -- tethering is one service that hurts the consumer collective since everyone's fighting for the same piece of fibre." i think DU is pushing me to go for the 10gb data package with additional 160dhs... Sigh...

Anybody could please enlighten me on this would be greatly appreciated and may God bless u..
