That's the thing that started as the Crunch Pad, right?
Is this an iPad?
Nope. It's the JooJoo! (That weird name is a pun on "joujou", french for 'kiddie toy'...)
Long rumored, always delayed... and now delayed again until March they say.
Here's a hands-on from Engadget, if you're curious...

That's the thing that started as the Crunch Pad, right?
Yes it's pretty much the same thing.
It started as the CrunchPad in June, and after various ups and downs, it ended as the CrunchPad in November...
And now we have the JooJoo.

And then, the ePad: "It's so innovative, it looks like magic." [video]

Well, looks like Microsoft has canceled the Courier tablet project...

Yep. Puts things back in their natural order.
I mean we can't have a Microsoft product that is in par (if not better) than an Apple product, could we?

How true! :> Yet Micro$oft still came up with the Zune, and they championned the Tablet PC concept, so...
Now we have to turn to the HP+Palm coalition, see what they will come up with.

For this thing to work, it needs some sort of application delivery method similar to the app store. It's not the hardware that people want/need, it's the software.
Imagine having to hook it up to a CD drive to install Microsoft office so you can create documents on the go, then realize that office wasn't really designed to be used with a touch screen device on such a small screen.
We dis MS, but they have some nice things, including the total awesome XBox!!
Zune is cool only NOW, after they missed out on so much.
And even then its not that cool compared to the iPod Touch.
As for the Tablet PC, that totally was a fail.
I know toms of people that bought one assuming they would use it, only to throw it aside or use it as a regular laptop.
This one on the hand had true potential, with the exception of needing a stylus.
I wish they did launch it.
Imagine the market with it in it.
Stay hungry. Stay Foolish.
