Airport Extreme - Can't browse!

Yesterday I bought the airport extreme base station, the green light comes on, the MBA detects it, but I cannot browse the web. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

BTW is the Airport Extreme base station only a router and not a modem too? Like linksys, Speedstream, etc.

It's not a modem.

Managed to get it working, connected it to my exsisting speedstream. Using the speedstream as a modem and the Apple extreme as a router.

It is powerful, It is easily catching good signal strength in places where the Speedstream would struggle.

Will be buying the express soon to cover the entire house.

I had the same problem, so the only thing i inferred was if you are on etisalat network then you need a modem+ADSL router, if you are on du network then you would get only the router. In my case i went for a more cost effective solution and landed up brain breaking all night, and in the morning went and exchanged it to a router.

Best of luck on your wireless endevours
