Setting up Airport on MacPro

Hi,
I had successfully installed Airport on my Mac Pro yesterday. Installed the Cd and everything is recognizing fine on the system.

Now how do I do the setup? I want to connect wirelessly to my LinkSys. I am already running a laptop and my previous (now defunct) Mac Book from it. Now the problem is that the airport is not showing any networks. Although I have rescaned numerous times.

Is there a TCP/IP settings that I have to do? or any other settings? Please advice. Thank you.

No it is not. It is open. I also use it to connect my Ipod Touch to it.

My guess is that the Airport is not scanning any networks at all. As there are a couple of other networks from the neighbouring houses. Can that mean that the airport is not installed properly on the system? Is there a way I can verify that I have installed properly on the system?
