If you'll have forwarding ports to connect ichat. I wouldn't know what's the problem, I wouldn't even know If you'll have done that right.

But here's what you can do.
In safari 3.1.1 go Preference>Advanced and tick-on the 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'.

Now you could change the 'user agent' to like; firefox.
Better still View 'Web Inspector' or 'Error Console'.

I don't think this problem arise out-of-a-blue-moon.

Nope, all green for me as well. It is truly weird. Plus I am the only user on this floor, and as I said, I had absolutely NO issues till these past 2 or so days.

Are you still using Little Snitch? is your setting alright there?

Did you check Error console of safari as suggested by Vinpin on post #11?

This can be an Etisalat issue.
Probably a problem with their DNS.

But I'm starting to think this is the update's fault.
Recently, I have been having the attached problem as well.
THis happened a few times.
The weird thing is that it seems to be persistent to a window or program.
So if Mail look like that, it will continue to look like that no matter how I more or restart it.

To resolve, I have to reboot.
Something that is VERY unApple like!!

Your problem seems to do something with the video of you computer.

I had few problems on my work machine after the update, but thats resolved by verifying permission and fixing them.

Sometimes DNS servers may experience too much load and you'll get the message server busy. other times we may have typed wrong addresses

EmiratesMac Apple User Group

and we get "Oopsy Daisie... it seems like a 404 happened"

That example has nothing to do with DNS problems though, it's simply that that URL doesn't exist.

Ok, Nothing is wrong with the modem, or the router. all the DNS issues arent it because I just had 3 Windows and 1 Mac G4 (10.4) laptops up here and NONE of them have this problem.

The only thing I can think about now is the update I just installed n my iMac. It was seriously like 2 or 3 days ago. about the same time all this started happening.

Sigh. When is 10.5.4 comiing out?
