stumbler

There is a well known wardriving application that runs on Windows and WINCE devices called stumbler. It is available at www.stumbler.net.

Have not been over there in a while, especially as I use a wardriving product called Kismet which runs on Linux/BSD/Apple OSX and which I find is a lot better. I digress, anyway they have a wifi maps section which lists cities with free wifi hotspots, locations and GPS co-ordinates you could head over there and see if anyone has posted anything on Dubai yet.

Or you could make the first move and grab your favourite win PDA running stumbler or apple laptop running kismet (for those of us still using the PPC apple, we are out of luck as you cannot compile kismet on the PPC architecture!, but there are other apple wifi sniffing apps - kismac! ) and start mapping out Dubai and posting the findings to wifimaps.com or stumbler.net
