i WANA ATTEND!!! but im going to pakistan for 20 days

i actually wna meet people who're OLD APPLE fans and look at how they were always kooler than the PC people :P magnus, how mch attendance do u normallly get on EMUG events?

August 16. It's always announced on the home page and in the calendar. There's even an iCal calendar to subscribe to. Attendance varies but usually somewhere 5 to 10 people. We're always interested in good ideas for how to make it more appealing to come to EMUG meetings.

Aight so the date is fixed, Saturday 9th August 2008. Tho i dont know if aa few might have problems as its a day before work. I guess most people like to laze around at home and watch tv OR go twitter happy (*looks at magnus*, and decides to disable phone alerts

After 5 sounds good to me too, any places up for suggestion ? Noxie, when you leaving ? If its not next week you can come on saturday cant you ? And its odd not to see zaid, fangpyre, ultra or appleholic not replying. Hmmm, if i hear you guys got the 3g courtesy magnus, and are silently playing with it ... then ....

Yeah, I got 3 3Gs.
I really wanted to show them off so I went to a restaurant and laid them all on the table.

I'm not perfectly sure if I can make it.
So I don't want to affect the decision unless I know for sure.
I don't think it will be fair.

I WILL try to make it.
I already set it in my calendar.
I'm hoping that the turnout will be high this time.
So it sounds fun.

So where it at?

i work for a chian of japanese restaurants.
if all are ok with that i can arrange for a great discount for all of us and also i can reserve seats depening on how many for sure will come.
venue if ok is in jumeira town center

tht's y i cant come, cuz i'll be returning around 20th of August. so no chance of me making this meeeting or the EMUG meeting thsi time around, but next month (september) for sure

Hopefully more folks would want to just join in the fun. I was thinking of joining the EMUG too, but just cant get the time off office work for a few weeks. Its a public holiday today and i am at the office working

).

But i guess something like this would fancy folks who come to the forum on a regular basis, but dont want to be a member ?
