Fund Raising Ideas

Just a loud thought as we are non profit unit, how about we have little postcard (blank) painted / colored by group members family members and sell them to eachother at the EMUG meetings - all the proceeds to to EMUG kitty. This way we encourage art and have some really cool personalized art on our home.

It could be more ... we all can collect our donatable stuff like old clothes, electronics, books, etc and as Emirates Mac Users collective go to Dubai Humanitarian and Aid Center and make a donation. We can then take a photo of that drive and get some exposure in the press while propagating good deeds as a group of geeks.

I would recommend that each one contribute with his peace of Mac-Art, either done on a Mac or done about a Mac. I wanna see this Photoshop masters at work, ah!
Me? I'm into 3D, as soon as I'll install Rhino into my Windows partition I'll be contributing as well...

Illustrator geniuses, don't be shy now! Let me see what you can do with all that hardware and the dad's money you spent on it!

That's a great idea..I',m really interested..I wouldn't mind making some cards and things related to art..I'm no expert yet but tell me a few ideas and how exactly you want things to be like, I will do my best to achieve it..
