YouTube & MAC

I was browsing for some video clips on YouTube, for Windows there are some free software that allows you to download or capture the video clip you have watched. I tried to find something similar for MAC but to no avail.

Any ideas.

There are ways to get videos from youtube/google video even on your mac. But i don't think it is legal to download vidoes from youtube. This is one of the article i found about legal action threatened by youtube.

Magnus have demonstrated the Activity feature in Safari in May's Shuffle issue, check out page 9.

The way to download it in Safari is once you have the movie playing in the window, visit the menu Window > Activity then double click on the url for the playing movie and Safari will download the movie with a .flv extension that could be opened with VLC player.

I first got to know about this feature some days back and before reading the article. Mac4arabs member "mac core" brought this feature to my attention.

The recommendation of how to capture YouTube clips worked like a charm, the details mentioned also in Shuffle May issue, were more than excellent, actually I got it running after reading the Shuffle article.

Thanks to all.

Regards,

Sarie
