Donno with etisalat but under your network incase you can edit the APN setting then any random APN will totally get you of the 3G Networks even if an app tries to access it cannot connect.Just put it back to where it was before changing it and youre back and running.

Incase youre on the Dark Side SBSettings will do the Job for you with an active toggle.

How to stop internet on 3GS from Etisalat

    Hi nadeen,

I guess that your 3Gs is not under ios 4 or above. I would suggest you update fw (but you will lose the jailbreak and will probably will not be able to jb - at least for the moment !) then if you go to "settings" - "network" there you'll find a switch for network data, switch it off and you save your 20aed !

    Good luck!

Just install this profile to deactivate 3G and delete this profile when you want it back.
