| Backup issues question I'm planning to set up an external hard drive to backup my files using Time Machine. So, should I use one that has larger capacity than my MBP hard disk? Or should I use another software and just select those specific files am interested in backingup? I have a 160GB Seagate HD. Thanks. |

| Depends... if you want the simplest possible, go for TM and if you have a larger TM drive compared to the original drive, then as far as I understand it, it just means that TM keeps more copies of files, until it fills up. Another option is using something like SuperDuper and do an exact copy of your drive. |

Can I specify the files I'd like to backup too using the program, if I don't want to backup everything? | |
