Firstly, just wanted to say hi. I'm currently on holiday in the UAE (staying in Al Ain with the parents) until the 25th, when I will be returning back to England. I've got an aunt in Sharjah, whom I've been regularly visiting these past few days.

My question is, being the forgetful idiot that I am, it seems I have forgotten the power adapter for my macbook. I'll be going to Dubai this sunday / monday, so I'm wondering if anyone here has bought an adapter from any stores in Dubai, preferably close to Sharjah

The other thing, is that I need a mini-dvi to dvi converter cable (the one apple sells) as I've recently bought an lg widescreen monitor, to go with the black macbook. (13" is not enough lol) Again, would appreciate if folks can give me an idea on the price and where I can get one.
