new on mac..internet connectivity

Hi all,

my first post here and hope not the last one.

I live in Kuwait and was in Dubai over the weekend. Had been thinking about Apple/Mac for sometime after getting bored with PC use for the last over 15 years. I bought Macbook Pro with Leopard OS from icity Festival City. The sales guy, Lorenz, was very helpful. He indeed went beyond the call of his duty. My hats off to him.

My questions:

First...I have used speedtouch 330 but I am unable to connect. I think it does not support. Thomson website mentions that for apple intel I need to buy another adsl modem.

Second... I have a Zyxel 660HW-61 as well. I have somehow misplaced the driver CD. I looked through the website but could not make out whether this one would support Mac Leopard.

Any help will be appreciated. Its been two days since I have had the machine and have not been able to connect to internet and look at the features of Safari...something tells me I am missing a lot..

i don't have personal experience of either of those, are they both connecting to your Mac using USB? If so, I'd recommend you buy a ADSL modem/router that lets you connect using Ethernet, then you won't have any driver issues. Any major brand is fine (Linksys, 3Com, USRobotics, etc) and they're only about AED300 or so.
