how much would it cost to get the 250G HD?

would the installation be free? or how much?

Did you check with any company in AppleIDX?

Cheapest option would probably be to buy one from somewhere like MacSales.com and put it in yourself.

If you buy one, bring it to an EMUG meeting (and become a member first of course) and I'm sure someone will help you switch.

my friend wants to upgrade his MBP's harddrive. Is there anyone here kind enough to help him?

i asked this question a year back, Magnus was helpful with reply (thanks!), but i didnt do it on my mbp, and didnt register as advised.

now my friend wants to upgrade his, so im bringing this one up.

we're scared to remove that orange film like cable. hehe
