How many people were affected by the battery recall?

I am one of them... Im scared to be using my Mac! The UAE isnt listed on their site so I had to have it sent elsewhere. is there a way to get a replacement battery in the UAE? Would the mac stores here be able to help?

This was discussed here. The Mac Stores will only help you if you bought the Mac from them. Apparently Protech and CDA are the ones to help you if you bought the Mac from anywhere.

We're still waiting for an official statement from IMC about what their policy is.
