| Photo organization on the Mac Interesting discussion. I have both the Apperture and Lightroom 2. Actually both are quite at organizing photos. I personally (I insist that it is a personal choice) work with Lightroom 2. I find it easier to catalogue my work with lightroom 2. I also work only with RAW files that are around 12 MB. Apperture 2.1 is quite good and had the local adjustment before lightroom had it (lightroom 2 has the local correction and the graduated filter tool) but since I find the local correction brush moree easier to use on lightroom thus I work on lightroom 2 and also use it as a cataloguing tool. For somebody not shooting jpgs or not shooting as much as I do, i think iPhoto is a perfect solution. http://www.pbase.com/syedsa |

| Mistake You are absolutely right I meant somebody not shooting RAW. But actually the iPhoto and cover flow are some of quite advanced tools as they have the plugins for viewing the RAW files (atleast from canon that I use , I am sure also true for RAW from other cameras like Nikon). |
