Spore Patch

Hi,

I installed Spore on my Mac Air and when prompted to download the patch, it caused an unexpected error. I tried to reinstall Spore and did not download the patch and i was able to log-in. After my initial game, I restarted and decided to install the patch and it worked fine. On my second day of gaming another patch needs to be downloaded. But when I downloaded the 2nd patch, the game wouldn't launch and this means I have to re-install the game again. Just a note, everytime I reinstall the game, it used up a lot of my HD space. I deleted everything Spore related everytime I re-installed the game but it just keep on decreasing the HD space. I just hope that this wouldn't damage my Mac.

If anyone has a fix on this patch please do respond.

The patch doesn't seem to work just now. I just bought a MacBook Pro and tried installing Spore. It prompted me to update so I did, and it either got stuck and crashed or kept on reinstalling. Just don't update it for now and if EA manages to fix the bug then they will release a new patch. (A patch for the patch?)
