MACOSXmas LAN PARTY!!!

Had a lot of fun meeting you all yesterday (not really, but I'm a Marketing guy, what can I do???) and I was thinking of something kinky for Christmas to boost our Mac Ego, sales for a lucky shop and possibly raise awareness, readers and fund for Shuffle: Lan Party!

Needed:
-10 FAST mac, book, pro or i, doesn't really matter.
-10 heavy-duty players (ok, 9)
-licensing (ehm ehm!!!)
-"someone" with like, how do I say, an Apple store maybe??? And GOOD wireless lan!
-SOUND SYSTEM
-A little bit of publicity and battage
-A couple of good looking friends in jeans and tight apple T-shirt (yes, of course they have to be female, don't even ask) as eye candy and to handle Shuffle copies and brochures.
-3 hours free. Set up and packing will take around 1-1,5 hour, gaming will be the rest.

I would like to recommend one title (Need for Speed CARBON) but I'm not sure about the LAN playbility, also it would be preferrable a title that the shop has in stock, anythying can do, but the greater the visual impact, then Great Success, as Borat tells us!

As soon as we have the title, we can meet and have a "test", I believe it will be a great Mac stunt, not to mention the fun!

Hay the Oldmachand, very nice meeting you too.

If you have gone upstairs yesterday, you'd have seen a six PC (What?!) gaming room. Perhaps iDubai or others could help in setting-up Mac gaming room as you asked here.

hey...im in....( look who's back after a long time....) but i cant drag my iMac 24 around like i do with my , on its last legs PowerBook G4, it can run UT2k4 well, i'd join for a healthy unreal deathmatch.....i need to get back in to the game....( cant play at work mac mini wont run it....).....

You know, a LAN party might make a good source for the January Shuffle issue

**EDIT** And I would love to play some UT2k4 as well, have to sharpen up my rocket jumps

we need 10 licenses, it's not gonna happen.

Otherwise: any freeware which is fun and doesn't require licences to play it LAN? Maybe a first version of something?not to mention that we should train, *ahem*, we don't want to look like COMPLETE amateurs of the game, I mean, that wouldn't be very entertaining...

Magnus the Great! I'm not even sure that Need For Speed -Carbon- has multiplayer capabilities. I have to say it's an amazing game though, graphic and stuff: A+, good show for the Mac.
