I have a question, say I have Warcraft 3 on my macbook and I want to play online with my friend who has a Windows operating system. Will I be able to play with my friend online or only with mac users..?

It should work fine, AFAIK Warcraft is playable across platforms. Blizzards WarCraft III pages don't mention anything about it not working, just that "Multiplayer games played over a LAN require an active connection to a TCP/IP network."

Unfortunately I cannot myself confirm this because I don't have the game, but hopefully someone else can spread some more light on this

I am going to get WarCraft 3 some how xD My friend wants to play with me online and from what I heard about WarCraft is really good..So I wanna try it out..We will just wait for someone who is good with games to comment =D Thanks EmiratesMac..I will try it once I get it and let you know(hopefully)..

Hey Boo310,

If your friends are already playing then ask them whether they have the European or US version. Both versions are for sale in Dubai (I found this out the hard way) and if you buy a US version you cannot play on the European servers and vice versa.

hey look warcraft its not one game its maps and each map got its own game wt i mean u

download (warcraft 3 after that u will be able to download warcraft frozen throne wicth its

much better ) it nice game if u play camping but if u wana play lan theirs 2 wayes

1)u will play like camping normal mode(strategy game) u build an army ...etc.. u know

2)u play maps downloaded from internet each map its a game for, example i play dota

its the most popular map and the most players playing it and their is alot other maps like the( war snake ) its like snake game u play it on Nokia cell phone u will find wt ever game u like, ((if u have the map u can play it online for sure just craete and the others will enter and take it from u inside the room but if u want to play against the comp u should download the map in AI mode see( i download dota 6.50) i create and put 2 comp the comp wan't play coz u download the version for players only wicth u can play it online with ppl k? if u want comp download (dota AI 6.50) nice isn't it ?) by the waye u can play it on windows but i prefer mac .but unfortinate in mac only 2 rooms euro_us_but in pc alot other rooms

3) in windows u can download GG client it a huge server for 5 games quak3 and counter strike and warcraft and... ------> so u should have warcraft3 and frozen throne after that download GG then join, then u will find 100+ rooms and 1000,000 player in the rooms

Go to Curse.com - WoW Addons WAR Addons Gamer Blogs Forums and grab QuestHelper or follow this link:

Unzip the file and place it in the add-ons directory. Restart WOW and enable the addon.

Warcraft 3 Maps - EpicWar.com its a good source for war3 maps and check this for anime maps the-www.rok.co.cc u also can search and check their forums for maps based on Anime
