Cool. I've not tried the Wii yet but this seems like one good reason why it's selling so well and the PS3 isn't.

Yeah wii's are pretty cool its a shame theyre so expensive here they are about 2500 dihrams here and they cost 175 pounds at home which is 1277 dihrams i guess the high price here is because they are selling so well and there is a shortage

I love the Nintendo Wii. I picked one up in the states for approx $250 or in dhs: 920. Games run at about $50 each or 180dhs. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Rocks I love it loads. Wariowares : Smooth moves is fantastic also. You have to do crazy things like try to balance a brush in your hand with the handle in the palm of your hand, it is fantastic. Red Steel also loads of fun, you get to run around using the controller as a gun and a sword!

and yes before you ask I do take me wii whereever I go as it is Tiny, I also carry two apple laptops as well. The guys with the baggage x-ray machines seem me coming and start crying.

Wii is cool, funky and fun, but the graphics are crapy... i wish they could add better graphics to it, they actualy made a comparison, and proved that the Nintendo Cube has better graphics than the Wii...

Wii - Store account and Wii Points

Hi there Guys and Gals...

It seems that the Wii-Account is similar to the iTunes Store, you can't open / access the store or news without living in the US or having a US-Credit Card...

Luckily it's a thing of the past...

But how...???

Change your selected area to Brazil, and use your UAE credit card to buy Wii-points.

Use your Wii points to purchase aplications and games from the Wii-Store.

Good Luck & Enjoy.

PS. You can change the store back once you've purchased points.
The internet application is quite cool, but takes some getting used to.
