Spiderweb games: Avernum & Geneforge series

Just wanted to recommend the RPG games made by Spiderweb Software. They are brilliant fun, with great, detailed storylines, and will work on old and new Macs, being a little "retro" in style but amazingly slick in gameplay.

They have huge, playable demos of all their games, so you can really get a feel for whether you would like the game or not before buying. If you felt a bit cheapskate you could just play all the demos, which would be hours and hours anyway.

They also have a game called Blades of Avernum which you can create your own RPG games on (plus there are hundreds of free scenarios to download and play on it).

I beta-test for them, so I'm probably biased, but honestly I only test because I love their games so much.
